Severn Trent Water decide on BC to improve supply chain collaboration on AMP5

Severn Trent Water will be using Business Collaborator (BC) to collaborate with its supply chain on its AMP5 programme of work. BC will be used to share documents and communicate with the supply chain involved in the five-year long programme, which starts in 2010. It will be implemented in April 2009 to enable early start projects to benefit from the system.

Mike Beard of Severn Trent Water said: "We are striving to create an effective collaborative environment for delivering capital assets, where everyone works together as 'One Supply Chain', irrespective of organisation, location or level of involvement in a project. Removing the traditional barriers created by poor communication and lack of access to the information needed, is key to delivering significant benefits to all users."
