We offer a flexible pricing approach to best fit the model you require

BCL's standard pricing model is based on interchangeable named users that can be purchased on a Monthly (all-inclusive) or Perpetual basis. It is our belief that the Perpetual model offers the best value. However, we understand that the array of pricing models proposed by competing extranet vendors can often lead to confusion during the decision making process. By offering both, we allow for a ‘like for like’ comparison, and a choice of model that best suits the project.

• Monthly Rental - all inclusive monthly project fee.
  The Monthly model is ideally suited to projects where:
  • the duration may be unclear (for example during the bid process with a view to extending its use should the proposal be successful)
  • the project wishes to trial the use of the system on a short term basis
  • cashflow is an issue
  • the project wishes to pass a Service fee on to the Client on a monthly basis, or;
  • the project is less than four years in duration.
• The Monthly fee includes:
• Hosting on a SAN environment
• Support and Maintenance
• Licences for BC and third party tools such as Brava!
• Access to all BC modules and applications
• Option to upgrade to Unlimited users and Unlimited disk space
• Option to roll in cost of implementation services.

The Monthly model removes the need for any significant investment at project start-up or any long-term commitments. The purchase can be a flat monthly fee or can vary based on the level of activity at each project stage.

Customers that wish to extend their usage of BC beyond a single project can easily convert to the Perpetual model.

• Perpetual Licence - one off payment for unlimited projects
  The Perpetual model is ideally suited to Customers:
  • whose users work on multiple projects
  • where the duration of a project goes beyond a four year period
  • where a Customer wishes to make a CAPEX purchase and own the licence outright
  • who have trialled the system on a project and wish to commit long term and realise the associated savings
  • who prefer to host their own Server, or;
  • who may wish to pass a Service fee onto the Client.
• The Perpetual Licence:
• Is a one-off payment
• Can be used for Unlimited Projects immediately
• Support and Maintenance is charged at 20% and is optional after Year 1
• Hosting fees are calculated based on usage

Licence numbers can be increased (in batches of twenty) in line with growth in user numbers. At any stage our customers can consider switching to an alternative model - for example, moving to an enterprise-wide licence after deciding to standardise on a group-wide collaboration system - in which case, rebates on previous purchase may become available.
